GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE – LA BASSE COUR

  1. OBJECT These general conditions of sale are intended for the exclusive use of booking bed and breakfast stays at “La Basse Cour”, located in Ancinnes. They constitute the booking contract between the owner and the client.
  2. BOOKING CONDITIONS AND DEPOSIT Any booking is confirmed after the payment of a 30% deposit of the total amount of the stay. This deposit is deductible from the final bill to be settled on-site at the end of the stay.
  3. FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION POLICY
  • More than 5 days before the start of the stay: Cancellation is entirely free of charge. The 30% deposit paid at the time of booking will be fully refunded to the client.
  • Between 5 days and 3 days before the start of the stay: The 30% deposit is retained by the owner, unless the room can be re-rented for the same period.
  • Less than 3 days before the start of the stay or no-show: The 30% deposit is retained by the establishment. No additional fees will be charged to the client.
  1. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES
  • Check-in: Guests are welcomed starting from 3:00 PM (15:00). In case of a late arrival, please notify the owner in advance.
  • Check-out: Rooms must be vacated no later than 12:00 PM (noon) on the day of departure.
  1. HOUSE RULES, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENT
  • Outdoor safety (Pond and Pontoon): The property features a pond. For obvious safety reasons, swimming is strictly prohibited. Additionally, as the pontoon is currently awaiting upcoming complete restoration, accessing and walking on it is strictly prohibited. Parents must supervise the safety of their children near the water.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed within the establishment.
  • Smoking and Vaping: For safety and comfort reasons, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the first floor, which includes all bed and breakfast rooms as well as the shared lounge.
  1. TABLE D’HÔTES SERVICE
  • Booking: Table d’hôtes meals are offered upon prior reservation only, ideally 48 hours in advance (and at least 24 hours in advance).
  • Allergies and special diets: Guests are kindly requested to report any allergies, food intolerances, or specific diets upon booking so that the menu can be adapted.
  • Meal cancellation: Any meal cancellation occurring on the same day after 12:00 PM (noon) will result in the invoicing of 50% of the meal price, to cover the cost of ingredients already purchased for its preparation.
